COACHING SERVICES: There are major differences between coaching and psychotherapy, specifically with goals, focus, and levels of professional responsibility. Coaching focuses on where clients are now, and what they'll do to get to where they want to be.
Psychotherapy, in contrast, is a health care service with a primary focus to identify, diagnose, and treat mental health disorders. Appropriate referral for mental health treatment will be made if it's determined client would benefit from psychotherapy.
Coaching isn't a substitute for appropriate mental health care.
