Strong descriptions sell classes! The more information a potential student has about your class, the more likely they are to enroll. When writing your class description, answer as many of the following questions as you can. The more details you can provide, the better!

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS MUST BE AT LEAST 100 WORDS.

  • What techniques will be taught?
  • What specific projects will be completed?
  • What can a student expect to get out of this class (learning objectives)? (e.g. accurate ring sizing, confident heat control when soldering, etc.)
  • Why should a student be excited about taking your class?
  • What is the environment of your classroom like?
  • What is your teaching style?
  • Are there any specific skills a student needs before taking your class? (Add those to the prerequisites section when submitting your class details.)
  • Speak to your audience!
