HBCU Scholarship Application
The Historically Black College and University Scholarship is the result of an initiative and partnership between NPSWC, Inc. and the Nutrien company. This scholarship, part of a diversity and inclusion grant, will be awarded to a high school senior who attends an HBCU. The deadline to apply is April 15th. To qualify applicants must: 1)Be a senior in one of the high schools in the five counties we serve 2) Provide a letter of acceptance to a college 3) Provide an official high school transcript 4) Submit the completed the application, including the required essay *A student selected to receive the scholarship must provide a schedule or verification of enrollment before funds are disbursed. Essay on Scholarship application: Submit an essay, no more than one typed page, entitled “Why I decided to attend an HBCU.” Discuss any situation (or individual) that affected your college choice.
