As the umbrella of initiatives formerly known as Social Ministry grows into the Action & Mission Committee, we are excited to bring more folks from our church family to the table to generate ideas about ways to make an impact through providing food, clothing, spiritual support, visitation and other kinds of compassion in our community, the Pittsburgh region, and beyond--and to serve. We need you, your ideas, your help, and your heart. Review the details of each committee and outreach opportunity at belc.org under the "Get Involved" heading.

Shelter Meals (join a meal team and serve others)

New Start Household Supplies Ministry (household items for those in need)

Hope & Compassion (sending cards/care packages)

Prison Ministry (collect calendars, sweat suits, socks, and other needs)

Blessing Box (food pantry outside our church)

North Hills Community Outreach (a variety of engaging activities/events)

Anchorpoint Counseling Ministry (provides counseling, tutoring, and support workshops)

Trinity Lutheran, Northside & Glade Run Lutheran Services (specific to children's needs)
