Before working with children in the Tennis & Tutoring program, either as an employee or volunteer, applicants must pass a background check and complete Safe Play training. Safe Play is USTA's comprehensive athlete safety program. The USTA works with the US Center for Safe Sport and the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee to develop Safe Play policies, procedures, and educational resources.
