Sell outright, trade or consign. Saddles must be in Australia, sorry no international sellers. Ony submit this form if your saddle meets the following criteria: * Is branded, either stamped with a makers name or has a makers badge. * Not made from Indian leather. * Less than 20 years old. * Its current selling price is at least $500 * Is in great condition. * Has no known structural defects. Saddles/Brands we are not currently interested in looking at : Seabis, Henri de Rivel, St Lourdes, Eurosport, Tekna, Horselines, HP (Horse Problems), Status & Kincade. We currenlty only take full Western saddles (with square skirts and horn) if you are local and can deliver it to us.

Selling options:

Consignment - pays you the most money.

Fees for Consignment:

Up to $1100 the fee is $275.

$1100 to $2000 the fee is 25%.

Over $2000 the fee is 25% on the first $2000 and 5% on the balance.

Trade in - if you are buying a saddle from Saddle Central.

This option will likely pay you around 60% of your saddles minimum selling price eg. if it would sell for a minimum of $2000 the trade in value would be $1200.

Sell outright - we do not offer to buy all saddles so we recommend selecting consignment as an option too. Selling outright will usually pay you around half of its minimum selling price, eg if its minimum selling price is $2000 you would likely receive $1000.

Have a thorough look over the whole saddle, run your fingers along the cantle to feel for nicks, look in good light to see if there is any wear etc. List ALL scuffs , scratches, wear and faded areas. Do not assume we will see them in your photos, we need to know where to look. If none please write NONE.

If the saddle is still under warranty we will also pass on a copy to the new owner.

Including a receipt may increase the chance of it being priced higher.

(The highest we ever value is 25% below its orignal new price, to achieve this it needs to have been made in the last three years and still like new, no signs of use at all.)
