Studio Policy

Below are the studio policies. Please read through each policy carefully and agree to the terms and conditions.

Media Release

By signing up for dance and/or fitness classes or events, the attendee grants BA Studios, LLC permission to use his/her likeness in a photograph and/or video in any and all publications and materials without payment or consideration made to them. The attendee realizes these photos and/or videos become the property of BA Studios, LLC and will not be returned. The attendee authorizes BA Studios, LLC to use, edit, copy, publish or exhibit any photo or video for any lawful purpose. The attendee waives the right to review any photo or video or to obtain royalties from the photo or video. Please Note: Photos and videos will be taken throughout the day and some photographs/videos will be posted on our web site, newsletter, or social media. Please let the staff of BA Studios, LLC know if you do not wish to have your picture/video made public.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that life happens and you might miss class. Our class cancellation policy is aimed to be a preventative measure rather than a penalty. As a boutique studio offering limited class sizes, demand for class spot is very high. Late cancels and no-shows prevent other guests from participating and late arrivals are disruptive to fellow clients and to your instructor. The late cancel window is 1 hour prior to class start time. Again, we understand that life happens and have reduced the late cancel window to allow for such occurrences. One hour provides you enough time to cancel for last minute emergencies, while also allowing us enough time to offer your class spot to another client. The 5-minute grace period for late arrivals will be enforced. The 5-minute grace period is in place to ensure your safety and the safety of other clients. Missing the warm up can be dangerous and put you at risk of injury. It is also disruptive to other clients when someone arrives to class late. There are no refunds for purchased classes or membership plans, but we do offer rescheduling for cancellations.

BA Studios stands on the core values of kindness, respect, unity, excellence, and safety. We hold all our instructors and students to these values.

Studio Attire

You need to feel good in their own skin, but we also want you to be properly dressed for class. We believe in a blend of traditional fitness attire etiquette as well as embracing the cute trends of the modern era. We recommend movable and breathable athletic wear for our adult fitness classes. Nothing is required, but we want you to feel comfortable in your attire. We suggest barefoot or grip socks for yoga, barre, and Pilates, and athletic sneakers for dance fitness.

Waiver of Liability

I/We hereby understand and acknowledge that the training, programs and events held by the BA Studios may expose me to many inherent risks, including accidents, injury, illness, or even death. I/We assume all risk of injuries associated with participation including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity, and all other such risks being known and appreciated by me. I/We hereby acknowledge my responsibility in communicating any physical and psychological concerns that might conflict with participation in activity. I/We acknowledge that I am physically fit and mentally capable of performing the physical activity I choose to participate in. After having read this waiver and knowing these facts, and in consideration of acceptance of my participation and the BA Studios furnishing services to me, I agree, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, to HOLD HARMLESS, WAIVE AND RELEASE the BA Studios, its officers, agents, employees, organizers, representatives, and successors from any responsibility, liabilities, demands, or claims of any kind arising out of my participation in the BA Studios training, programs and/or events. By my signature I/We indicate that I/We have read and understand this Waiver of Liability. I am aware that this is a waiver and a release of liability and I voluntarily agree to its terms.
