Terms and Conditions
Face Painting
The client agrees to pay a minimum of 1 hour.
Set-up: A table and two chairs will be provided by the client. If the event is outside, the client will also provide shelter from the sun and weather.
Liability statement: While cosmetic-grade make-up is used, the artist(s) are not liable for any reactions. The artist(s) will use reasonable care but are not responsible for damage to clothing or property.
For sanitary reasons, the artist(s) will not paint anyone who is or appears to be sick or suffering from: Cold sores, conjunctivitis, lice, infectious skin conditions, eczema, or open wounds etc.
Bubble Entertainment
The client agrees to pay a minimum of 30 minutes.
Bubble entertainment can take place both indoors and outdoors; due to this, we do not provide refunds due to the weather.
Should the entertainer(s) become sick, every effort will be made to find replacement entertainer(s), but if we are not successful, a full refund will be provided.
Set-up: please ensure there is adequate space provided for the entertainer and guests to enjoy the bubbles.
Liability statement: Coastie Face Painting and its entertainers are not liable for any damage or accidents occurring during or after the entertainment.
The client understands that while Coastie Face Painting will take steps to limit the risk of slips and falls, the bubble mixture is slippery and so caution is advised.
Active supervision is required by the host/guardians/parents of children due to the potential for slips and running into potentially hazardous areas while chasing bubbles.
Allergy notice: soap, guar gum, polymers, j-lube, dispersing agents, baking powder, and vegetable glycerine are all agents that can be used in our bubble juice-making process.
Please have available towels encase of extra cleanup is required.
Grass, plant and aquatic life can be impacted by bubble solution. It is recommended to wash areas with water to dilute the solution from popped bubbles. Please remove or cover important plants and aquatic life.
Access to running water is a requirement. If the solution comes into contact with the eyes or skin to rinse under water. Please remind children to wash their hands after the session to minimise irritation.
It is recommended that parents bring spare clothing encase children get messy/wet while playing.
Glitter Tattoos
The client agrees to pay a minimum of 1 hour.

For sanitary reasons, the artist(s) will not apply glitter tattoos to anyone who is or appears to be sick or suffering from: Cold sores, conjunctivitis, lice, infectious skin conditions, eczema, or open wounds etc.
Glitter Tattoos will result in excess glitter. The client understands that this will occur and will not hold Coastie Face Painting liable for glitter in carpets, furniture etc.
General
Payment terms: Full payment is required to secure the booking.
For those making bookings at short notice, a late booking fee may apply.
Cancellations: Should you need to cancel, the 25% paid upon booking is non-refundable. 50% refund will be provided should you need to cancel within 7 days of the event. Full payment will not be refunded if less than 12 hours notice is provided.
Change of date/time: any change of date or time is considered a cancellation of the old booking and the creation of a new booking.
Coastie Face Painting can decline a booking for any reason. Once this form has been completed, we will contact you with a final quote and confirm the current availability of your selected date and time. The client will ensure the venue allows the services Coastie Face Painting have been hired to provide.
Coastie Face Painting is not goods and services tax registered.
Extreme adverse working conditions: The artist(s) have the right to cease painting and leave if there are extreme adverse working conditions and the client fails to remedy the situation after it has been brought to the client’s attention. This can include but is not limited to violent or inappropriate behaviour or dangerous weather conditions such as extreme heat/cold/rain.
Entertainer overtime: (if applicable). If you would like to continue the entertainment on the day, overtime is charged at the applicable rate per half hour, depending upon the service. Payment is required within three working days after the date of the booking.
Liability statement: The client will not hold Coastie Face Painting or it's artists and entertainers responsible for any reactions or damages.
The client will provide adequate supervision of children and party guests. The behaviour and safety of children are the sole responsibility of the adult/parent/guardian/host.
