Class Guidelines & Expectations

By signing this document, we are confirming we have read the syllabus and class expectations documents

• We give permission for the student to watch the videos as listed in the Student Expectation document.
• We understand the student's photo/video/image can be posted online, on Channel 191, on YouTube, or in other school-related publications.
• We understand all work created with school equipment and for the school becomes the property of Linden Community Schools.
• We understand students may be filming/photographing/creating projects outside of school.
• We understand the student may have an opportunity to film/photograph/create outside of the classroom during the class period. 
• We understand that this is a privilege and students are to be on task, respectful and cooperative.
• We understand students will create a website/portfolio to showcase their work and best practices and this will be graded as part of my final exam.
• We understand students will have access to art/video equipment, cameras, computers, and tripods to use during class and outside of class. 
• We understand if it becomes broken or lost due to misuse/or improper handling, we will assume financial responsibility to repair/replace the damaged equipment pursuant to Board Policy.
• We understand that should the student at any time choose to not follow the rules/expectations/guidelines set by the school and instructor, they will be subject to the consequences mentioned in this contract, student handbook, or as determined by the instructor/admin.
• We understand that failure to comply with equipment care and guidelines, could result in failure for the grading period and/or will be asked to pay for repairs/replacement and/or face legal action.
• We understand all work turned in/completed will be the student's own ideas, concepts, video/photos/artwork. Any work plagiarized will be given a 0 and referred to admin.
• We understand students need to put forth the effort and complete assignments to be successful in the course.
• We understand the class may have a virtual component and students are expected to act according to the school rules and guidelines set by the instructor.
• We understand the student may participate in virtual classes and meetings and the classes may be recorded and posted online.
