Sub-Committee Application

The Scioto County Democratic Party is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our various committees. Our committees play a vital role in strengthening our party's efforts across different areas. We invite registered Democrats living in Scioto County to apply for membership in one or more of the following committees.

Candidates Committee: This committee assists in identifying potential Democratic candidates, offering candidate training, and providing mentorships to navigate the campaign process effectively.
Communications Committee: Responsible for managing the party's digital presence, including the website, social media, newsletters, and other communication forms, this committee ensures our message reaches a wide audience.
Fundraising Committee: Focused on fundraising efforts, this committee organizes activities and solicits contributions, maintaining financial support for the party's initiatives.
Membership Committee: This committee aims to recruit candidates for vacant Central Committee seats, ensuring robust and active party enrollment.
Events Committee: Tasked with organizing party events and activities, members of this committee also contribute to setting up, managing, and cleaning up after events.

Committee members should attend most monthly meetings for the Scioto County Democratic Party. We meet monthly at the Vernal G. Riffe, Sr. New Boston Community Center on the fourth Thursday of each month at 7 PM (January - October)
