I hereby acknowledge that my participation in yoga classes and related activities (“the classes”) at Manifest Yoga Studio will involve performing various yoga poses and physical exertion on my part, and may be strenuous, expose me to risk of physical injury or harm, and include poses requiring the likes of back bends and headstands. 

I acknowledge that yoga instructors and fellow students may physically assist me in holding, modifying, or moving into and out of certain yoga poses. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician prior to participating in the yoga classes offered. While instructors will provide verbal instructions during classes, I acknowledge that following those instructions will be entirely voluntary and within my own discretion and I agree to participate in the classes at my own pace and at my own risk, ceasing to participate at any time should I feel over-exerted, uncomfortable or fatigued. 

If at any time I believe that a posture is unsafe for me or that I am unable to participate due to physical or medical conditions, I will immediately discontinue participation. I acknowledge and agree to the terms contained herein. I confirm that I am physically and mentally fit to participate in the classes. I am fully aware of, accept and assume all the potential risks and hazards of participating in the classes and I accept full responsibility for any and all injuries and/or damages which I may suffer during or resulting from the classes and/or related activities. 

I release Manifest Yoga Studio, Play Move Breath (Pty) Ltd, their owners, directors and shareholders, managers, employees and instructors, volunteers, other participants and students and all other persons whatsoever (“the Released Parties”) from liability for all and any consequences direct or indirect of my participation in the classes, or caused howsoever on their premises, including but not limited to death, injury, disability or loss of or damage to my property, irrespective of any fault, negligence or gross negligence of any of the Released Parties, and I do so on my own behalf and of that of my spouse, dependants, parents, heirs, assigns, personal representatives and estate. I agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties against and from any claims brought against them by any party for damages of whatever nature arising from or relating to my actions or omissions while in class or on the premises, and agree to be liable for their costs on an attorney and own client scale. 

I acknowledge that in no way is Manifest Yoga Studio responsible for the safekeeping of my personal belongings while I attend class. 

I acknowledge that I have had sufficient time to read and understand this agreement and have either consulted with my legal counsel or have knowingly and voluntarily waived my right to do so. 

Manifest Yoga Studio uses social media to advertise the studio. By booking in to class you hereby grant Manifest Yoga Studio permission to film during class for marketing purposes and the usage of such images as Manifest Yoga Studio see fit.
