Arts in Education Grant Final Report FY2025

The Arts Council of Calvert County grants must be used in, or for, Calvert County, Maryland to support cultural arts programs. Complete report with actual funds received and used for this program/project. Funding for grants originate from a combination of the Maryland State Arts Council, Calvert County grant, community sponsors and donors. Grantees must give credit to the Arts Council of Calvert County and the Maryland State Arts Council in brochures, programs, news releases, publications and other publicity materials. Logos may be found on our website at http://calvertarts.org/grants. Projects must take place within the fiscal year for which they are applied.

● Must comply with Title VI, Section 601, of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which states that no persons, on the grounds of race, color, or national origin, shall be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination related to, the arts.

● Must comply with Title IV, Section 1681, of the Education Amendments of 1972, and the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, Section 6101, which prohibit discrimination on the basis of sex or age.

● Must comply with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, which states that no otherwise qualified person shall, solely by reason of his or her handicap, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination related to, the arts.

● Must maintain complete and accurate records of all activities connected with the grant.

● Must have filed a satisfactory reporting with Art Council of Calvert County, Inc. for the most recently completed fiscal year.

● Must file a final report in alignment with the program requirements. Necessary reporting methods will be provided in ample time to meet the deadline. Failure to report may jeopardize any future grant being received by the organization and may result in the organization being required to repay grant funds.

● Must give credit to MSAC and Art Council of Calvert County, Inc. in accordance with the Recognition Guidelines whenever and wherever credit is being given.

● Must notify the appropriate staff person in writing if a significant change is made in any Art Council of Calvert County, Inc. funded program or project.
