While face to face consults are preferred we can also offer phone or video consults as required.

Your initial design consultation with us is complimentary, offering a great opportunity to explore your ideas and requirements, and to meet the jeweller who will be hand making your piece. Should you need further consultation sessions, each additional jewellery design consultation may incur a further charge.

General maintenance, repairs, resizing, cleaning, polishing and rhodium plating do not require you to complete this form. Simply phone or send an email to make a time to meet with a jeweller.

At Shannon Cornish - Artisan Jewellers, we emphasise the significance of selecting high-quality gemstones and diamonds to ensure the integrity and aesthetic appeal of your custom piece. If you're considering gemstones or diamonds, we advise a consultation with our experts to guide your choice effectively. We can then source gemstones for you to consider. If you have existing gemstones, a pre-design inspection by our team is required to ensure suitability and compatibility with our quality commitment.

Please do not purchase stones elsewhere prior to consulting with us as we may decline to work with them if we feel they are unstable or unsuitable.

We understand that choosing the right gemstone or diamond can be daunting. If you're uncertain about where to begin, allow us to help you navigate through the options. Even if you're just starting to explore, sharing your initial thoughts on stone preferences—such as colour, and shape— will provide personalised guidance in finding stones that are of high quality, within your budget and flawlessly complement your design vision.

Understanding your budget is crucial for tailoring our services to meet your needs. Our handmade pieces commence at a starting price that varies with the design complexity and the materials used. This allows us to ensure that we can create something beautiful and unique within your financial parameters.

Pre-Consultation Preparation and Consultation Fee Policy

Once we have an understanding of your preferences and the design concept you envision, initial sketches are prepared, and if required, a curated selection of diamonds and gemstones will be sourced for your consideration.

Attending your gemstone consultation is crucial if you've requested to view gemstones. A sourcing fee may be applied for this service. This fee will be credited towards your final invoice, ensuring that every aspect of our collaboration is aligned with your vision and budget, however it is non refundable if you decide not to proceed as it covers the cost of gathering these stones from our distributors.

Recycled Treasures

If you have heirloom jewellery or cherished pieces you would like to transform into something new, we'd love to incorporate them. Please feel free to share photos of your pieces. This approach not only honours your history, but also adds a unique and meaningful layer to your new piece of jewellery. Please make sure to bring the pieces along to your consult. In the meantime you are welcome to send us images via sms or email or upload them now.

Design Finalisation & Revision

After the initial design concept has been finalised, one of our skilled jewellers will reach out to discuss the steps in the creation process. Please note that while we welcome design adjustments following our initial consultation, any substantial modifications or complex design changes, including change of mind, may incur an additional design fee, ensuring dedicated time and expertise for crafting your vision. This fee reflects the personalised experience and quality you'll receive.
