DO'S
- Keep your initimate areas clean and fresh
- Wax regularly for the best effects. Depending on your skin type every 3-6 weeks.
- Make sure hair is at least 1/2in long or 2 weeks of growth
- The 3rd day after your waxing you can start exfoliating your waxed area gently to keep your skin smooth and prevent hairs from grwing in. You can do this ever 3rd day.
- If your skin is very sensitvite it can be helpful to take an asprin or tylenol 30 mins before your waxing. Remember that just before your period yor skn is more sensitive.
DON'TS: The first 24 hours after your wax
- Avoid extremely hot showers/baths
- Avoid sun exposure, direct sunlight or sunbathing(or artificial tanning)
- Avoid saunas or steam baths
- Avoid swimming
- Avoid wearing tight or non-breathing clothes to avoid infection: waxed area needs air.
- Avoid perfumed products on the waxed skin
- Avoid touching the waxed skin: the empty follicles are easily inected by bacteria and need some time to settle down and close.
- No oil-bassed or tanning products
- Avoid products with Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) which may irritate waxed skin
AFTER 24 HOURS:
- Gently exfoliate skin after day 3.
- Avoid waxing just before your period.
- Don't shave in between waxes: this would affect the hair growth cycle
- Protect your body from direct sunlight using good sunscreen
